Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled by Portland Customer Services for Vathek Publishing. Vathek journals are hosted by Atypon-link.com. (See Online Journals below for further information.)
Subscriptions are available as print only, online only and print + online. Online and print + online options allow online access for the current year being subscribed to plus any previous years for which there was a paid subscription. The links below will take you to the appropriate parts of the Vathek and Portland web sites.
Online back volumes
For a new subscriber wishing to have backfile access in 2008 there is a special offer flat fee rate of £100 per journal.

Vathek journals are hosted by Atypon and access is by password or Athen authenification. Please visit www.atypon-link.com to browse and search the site.

Site licence/Terms of online access
Institutional prices for online subscriptions allow online access by authorised users on one contiguous campus community and network. Full terms and conditions of usage are available online. Multisite licences are available. For information contact Mairwen Lloyd-Williams at mlw@vathek.com.

Crossref
CrossRef's mandate is to connect users to primary research content, by enabling
publishers to work collectively. CrossRef is also the official DOI® link
registration agency for scholarly and professional publications. It operates
a cross-publisher citation linking system that allows a researcher to click
on a reference citation on one publisher's platform and link directly to the
cited content on another publisher's platform, subject to the target publisher's
access control practices. Our citation-linking network today covers millions
of articles and other content items from several hundred scholarly and professional
publishers.
DOI
"DOI" stands for Digital Object Identifier, an alphanumeric name that identifies digital content, such as a book or journal article (eg DOI: 10.1533/ijcr.2005.0379). DOIs are distributed by publishers and by CrossRef. The DOI is paired with the object's electronic address, or URL, and is published in place of the URL in order to avoid broken links while allowing the content to move as needed.
CrossRef DOIs link to publisher pages, which include the full bibliographic citation and abstract. DOIs integrate with local link servers. There is no charge for clicking and following DOI links.
If you encounter a DOI, you can also link to it automatically using the link resolver.

Pay Per View
If you do not have a full subscription to a journal it is still possible to obtain a copy of an article you are interested in by using pay per view (PPV). Click here (www.atypon-link.com) to take you to a browse and search page from which you can go to the article you want.
